I don't drive faster than 90 km, that's 55 miles(?) The question is because My Elisabeth does 9 km to the liter. Maybe it's the name .... Elisabeth (series)II.... no offence to her majesty though

9km to the litre = 11 litres/100km (metric measurement of fuel economy). Thats ~31mpg in old english units.
That's fairly ok for this time of year as cold weather reduces average fuel economy a bit.
at approx 90kph on a long journey (ie main roads not towns) you should be able to get a bit less than 9 litres/100km (around 40mpg).
With my 1098 I never got much better than 35 mpg on a long run and 25 mpg around town, but I drive quite hard. My 1962 (948) gave 45mpg on a long run but the wheels were not balanced so I had to drive less than 60mph
