Can anybody help me find somebody who can do an 'agreed insurance valuation' in the Worcestershire / South Birmingham area?
Cheers

Re: Agreed Valuation
I had my valuation done by Rob Thomasson, he is in Essex so too far for you. In the new Branch Handbook issued October 2014, there is a section on Insurance Valuations and this gives guidance on valuations and has a list of approved valuers. Check with your local Branch committee for names near to you.
Hope this helps

Re: Agreed Valuation
As long as you give a sensible value with some photos to back up then the insurance company should accept your figure. If your car is in the concours values then they would probably want an independant valuation

Re: Agreed Valuation
I once had an insurance valuation by one of the chaps at the Morris Minor Centre, Birmingham (part of the David Manners group) on the Wolverhampton Road.
You could give them a ring and see if its something they still do.
That said, I haven't needed their services for many years; the insurance companies I've been using have been quite happy to accept a figure on receipt of between 6 and 10 photographs. Most even accept these by email now.

Re: Agreed Valuation
Depending on the inusrer they have different requirements, with Footman James you only need an independent valuation if its over £15,000 or they query your valuation.
Too many Minors so little time.....
