Chassis

Post by Propshaft »

Hi everyone I am new to the club and have just started the restoration of a very crusty van . I have taken the cargo back off and am working my way around the cab . The chassis is in a terminal state so I intend to purchase a new one ( unless anyone has a half decent one for sale ) . My question is which is the best value for money new chassis , any feedback would be appreciated.

If you google 'unseen projects' a guy is making them to order, I presume he is still going. They are quite expensive but would imagine they would be good quality and accurate, apparently a problem with some. Failing that, be searching for a repairable one in the meantime, while you are busy sorting the body work out!

Thanks for the reply I have left two phone messages with unseen projects but as of yet had no reply . Yes I think I will have to keep my eye out for a repairable one
