no longer off my rocker ( cover )

Post by trabant »

Well after the chrome rocker cover debacle of last week I've gone and done up an original instead. Still no joy with a refund on the faulty item surprise surprise .
Its been an eventful day woke up to a pulled out bent trafficator arm GRRRR ! Sorted that replaced anti freeze stripped and painted rocker cover stripped and repainted air filter bracket and filter. Started car reversed ten feet and lost all eletrical power! Turned out to be a corroded spade connector on the voltage regulator. Anyway all is now well again.[frame]Image[/frame]

Excellent - and it has the essential vent pipe - and frankly (to me anyway) much nicer than a trashy 'chrome' cover. :D

How did the 'refund' for the poorly made 'chrome' cover query go ?

The refund situation is as follows after a lot of emails most of which were ignored until I threatened court action and told them I'd be billing for my time repairing the car as well ( at my work rate of £30 an hour ) I finally got a reply they sent a box to put it in and a courier is apparently collecting it tomorrow. So far this has taken four weeks to sort which is completely ridiculous and still no actual refund.
Assuming its picked up tomorrow I shall see what their line is and if I need to take further action or not.
I'll attach a pic to this pos spot the problem with the filler neck .[frame]Image[/frame]
