Re: Percy the Beaut Ute
hi so ive been away for a little, however progress continues to be made.
Ive cut out some front quarter panels from a donor car and cut them to fit then welded them in. looks a lot better now.

both sides are the same so you get the idea anyway...[frame][/frame]
Re: Percy the Beaut Ute
the flange from the underside of the roof gutter all welded in... not finished yet but I just need to get the roof gutter shipped over from the UK to NZ and put weld through primer on the two surfaces before doing the final shape and fit. Then on to the passenger side.[frame][/frame]

The work looks really good
Re: Percy the Beaut Ute
thanks, I pulled the cab back and door sills off last night and found a sad state... ill post photos this weekend to get advice about the best way to tackle it.
Re: Percy the Beaut Ute
here is a photo of the right drivers side sills.
From the mid/rear there is a 25mm box section that looks like a jack lift point? But there is none on the passenger side-is this normal? also from there back the floor under the sill seems to be at an angle which I think is an old repair.
How far back into the B pillar does the boxing panel go? just wondering regarding how I cut it all out to replace the pieces?[frame][/frame]
