70th Anniversary of the formation of the NHS
(It still seems to be going ?)
70th Anniversary of the formation of a group nationalised British Railways
( now all in private operators hands with one lot operating the track and assorted others running the rolling stock services upon it !)

Of course it's significant.
Keeping matters personal it's also 25 years since my first date with 'Mrs PB'. (May 1993) so we're marking the occasion by getting married... 14 weeks and counting
