Whilst looking for a spot weld drill I discovered Screwfix do them but don't describe them as such - saved me sending away for one

Since posting this originally I've developed my spot weld drilling technique and now do it in two stages - firstly with a standard 7.5mm cobalt drill as the original post to start with, half drill the spot weld out, and then finish drilling out the front panel with a 9mm drill on which I've ground back the starting point. This way I can remove a whole spot weld without going through the back panel.
