No input file specified
Why do I get the above when clicking on links to previous threads?
Re: No input file specified
Can you give an example of a thread that doesn't work. Thanks.

Thanks Phil, maybe it’s a Apple issue.
Phil, your link takes me to the thread that I posted, not the actual thread that the link in the post shows.

Re: No input file specified
Ah ha - now all is clear.
Welshrat's link does indeed show No Input File Specified.
Therefore I suspect that the link was already old and has been removed during one of the tidy ups of the MMOC web site.
Even going the long way round and quoting the www.mmoc.org.uk/viewtopic.php?f= draws a blank. I think that we can assume it had gone for ever.
Many of the links to older threads have been removed from the MMOC website which is a shame in many ways but life must go on. We are were we are.

Re: No input file specified
That’s a bit crap, there must be loads of useful info that people have spent their time posting, that’s just disappeared. I hate posting questions that have been asked many times before, but this lack of foresight by the MMOC is very poor.

Is there a specific question you need to ask as regards a remote brake fluid reservoir or disk brake fitting.
Some of us have been around for a long time and may be able to help with pre tidy up knowledge.

Re: No input file specified
Welshrat’s link was to a list of parts needed to make a proper remote reservoir, using Aeroquip rather than plastic hose. I can work it out by measuring the space in the car, but as it’d already been done I’d have liked to see how they did it.

Re: No input file specified
Declan burns gives a list of parts required in your first link above but they are Automotive Pipe Supplies (APS) parts not Aeroquip but can be used as a guide. They do sell non plastic pipe.
With my remote clutch master cylinder reservoir I have used rubber pipe and had no problems with leakage or sweating.

Re: No input file specified
Yes he does, but Welshrats list was for vehicles that already have the remote reservoir fitted, so removes the need for more hole cutting. As I say, I'll have a measure up and see what's needed, thanks Phil.philthehill wrote: ↑Sat Aug 17, 2019 11:56 am Declan burns gives a list of parts required in your first link above but they are Automotive Pipe Supplies (APS) parts not Aeroquip but can be used as a guide.
