Carried out a little paint repair today.
Used a can from Charles Ware which was supposed to be Snowberry White and it’s the wrong colour ! It’s cream colour probably Old English White
Im sure the car is ok as I’ve had some touch up from ESM and it’s bang on
The moral of the story is always do a test piece...

Different cans of Almond Green used to be different shades as well many years ago, ironically the first can I had matched my car perfectly, the second was much too light (and as it turned out was true almond green unlike my car) :)

My Traveller is Snowberry white and it was resprayed last year. I had a call from the paint shop who informed me that my car had come out with a green tint in the paint :o
When they contacted the paint supplier they were informed that there are 2 snowberry whites, one with the green tint and one more whiter.
I was shown on the internet that it was the case so Im not sure if snowberry was used on classic mini maybe, although I do like mine as the tint I must admit.

Re Snowberry White

I have a 1970 saloon that had some bodywork repairs done before I bought it. The repaired panels have a distinct green tinge compared with the rest of the (original) paintwork. I guess my Minor has been the victim of the 'two formulas for Snowberry White' phenomenon.

I'm pleased to know why I have mismatched panels.
