Split Screen chrome surrounds

Post by manlyvaleaussie »

I am nearing completion of the restoration of my 1952 MM series and have just installed the windscreen with new rubber and the new slightly smaller glass, all well and good but the chrome surrounds are sticking out at the corners, any and all advise on a type of adhesive or any other method of curing the problem will be greatly appreciated.

i VERRRRRY GENNNNNNTLY eased the chrome to the right shape before it went in. It gets slightly bent every time it gets levered out.

Good luck! :D
