Hello
I'm planning to spray my glovebox surround, consequently, I've ordered some Traflagar Blue from ESM.
My question is really about the prep. I've seen videos online where they've cleaned and sprayed straight over the old paint.
What sort of prep/primer do people recommend?
James

Re: Spraying glovebox surround
Get some wet/dry paper maybe 240 grade, with water rub over the area to be sprayed, wipe, and make sure area is dry then a thin coat of grey primer. Followed by, preferably next day, a light rub down with dry paper maybe 400 grade, wipe clean then top coat. If any small imperfections in the first place, use some cellulose stopper. That’s my method.

Thank you! That sounds like a plan, I'll give it a goles wrote: ↑Wed Jan 11, 2023 11:33 am Get some wet/dry paper maybe 240 grade, with water rub over the area to be sprayed, wipe, and make sure area is dry then a thin coat of grey primer.
