Re: minor boot seal
I have had great success with Evo-Stik Timebond (not the usual impact adhesive).
Re: minor boot seal
And on the flip side, I tried using Timebond and all I got for my troubles was a seal that fell out on me.
In the end my car had to go in for restoration, so I don't know what sealant they used for the new seal, but I got a whole different boot lid in the end (if I remember right) as part of the restoration.

Re: minor boot seal
Tiger Seal would do the job but you might have difficulty stripping it back off, if you ever wanted to.
Best wishes,

Re: minor boot seal
thanks for all the replies, i think i shall use the tiger seal, scuff up the paint where the seal will sit, and hopefully it will bond
