I'm halfway through fitting a new hood to my convertible.
How everything (hood, weather strip, and finishing strip) fits round the front wooden "beam" is a bit confusing.
I believe that the weather strip is fitted first to be a seal along the top of the windscreen.
What mainly confuses is how and where to attach the bits at the outside corners of the wooden "beam".
Should the main hood at the front be trimmed to overlap the weather strip?
I there a diagram anywhere to show this?
Thanks in advance.
