Lucas DM2P4 Distributor Replace

Hi , My friends
Can you tell me please , old Lucas DM2p4 distributor Engine work with 25D distributor ? ( I want remove DM2P4 distributor from 850cc engine and fix it 25D distributor - can it do ? )

There is no reason that the distributer cannot be fitted.
The timing curve will be different but not enough to cause problems.
All you can do is fit the distributer and see how you get on.
