Flare nut spanner size wheel cylinders?

Hi, can anyone tell me what size the flare nuts on the front/back wheel cylinders are likely to be on the 62 minor? I need to buy some spanners, I have an 11mm flare spanner that is just a little too big. First one I tried wouldn't budge. Trying to decide whether to persevere or find a mechanic.

Thanks. I tried a normal 7/16" af but the 11mm seems a slightly better fit. Hmmmm...better find my blowtorch

7/16" A/F it is.
If you are going to purchase a flare nut spanner purchase a six sided spanner as the nut is held better and therefore the force is spread over the flats of the nut.

Maybe a previous owner has replaced the original AF ones with the more widely-available metric ones...

The front cylinders are 7/16 AF but all the other fittings are 3/16 Whitworth which is just slightly bigger. Often a 7/16 wrench can be forced on.

Thanks. I had considered that they are metric. Found the blowtorch, will try that tomorrow. First one wouldn't budge at all with medium force, doesn't bode well for the rest...
