Trafficator mounting plates
I am re-establishing the trafficators on my 1959 2 door. I have managed to acquire the units themselves and have them repaired and operating effectively but I am in need of the brakets that attach the trafficators to the inside of the B post. They will be mild steel and bent in such a way as to keep the trafficator mechanism about an inch inside of the car body. It is too much to expect anyone to have surplus brackets but if I could receive a photo plus dimensions I could fabricate my own. Hoping that someone in the process of a renovation themselves might be able to oblige me. Thanks in anticipation.

Such parts are readily available if you go through the many parts specialists in the club magazine and make a few phone calls or emails. I've never failed to find quite obscure parts for my cars.

Well done for that suggestion. I had not thought of 'Minor Matters' but found exactly what I was looking for with my first telephone call. That will be my first port of call in future.
