Door main glass
How can I clearly identify a glass panel as to whether it is front or rear.

Measure them. On a 4door saloon (which I'm guessing you have?) the rear glass is quite a bit bigger than the front. Roughly, the front door glass is 35cm wide (measured from front to back) and the rear is about 44cm.
