Engine swao

Post by veedub »

Greetings to all. Newbie to the Club, here from New Zealand. I have been browsing the Club site trolling for some info on an engine swap. I have a 1972 Morris Minor Ute with a 1098 engine that is in need of serious rebuild work. I also have a Morris 1275 (1300) front wheel drive engine in good condition. Both being 'A' engines is it possible and practical to convert the front drive engine to rear drive? Thanks in advance for advice, thoughts, comments.Rod

Welcome to the club!

Where are you in NZ? I did part of my medical student elective in North Island, NZ, Gisborne rather a long time ago. Have a look at this thread and especially the video posted by Phillthehill. The video is about converting a transverse Mini engine to inline.
