Blimey! Are they meant to be shiny like that?

I don't think that's natural... where's the coating of oil and rust? Why isn't it leaking? Nooo :-)

It looks beautiful mate, truly stunning. Can't wait to see the entire whole car all in one piece :-)

Non standard screw-on oil filter - tch tch. Nicely painted though.

can not see a problem myself with screw on oil filters, makes it nice and easy to change, move with the times or stay in the 60`s LOL

Actually, Mini filter housing is a good idea, turns changing the oil and filter from a pain to a pleasure.

So does the oil filter. I gather the Mini used one too (?) making that 'period' as well.

LATER The early Minis didn't, and I've no idea when/if they changed, so I retract that bit if it's rubbish :D
