White Paint for Wheel Rims

Post by pertwoodpie »

Hello can any one tell me what paint one should use on wheel rims, I know its white of some type.
Colour and codes and type of paint would be cool
thanks

We got the smootherite a bit cheaper than the asking price so thanks for the link...!
So if any one wants some of it cheap, then let us know.

Thanks
Marcus

The proper colour is old english white, Ive found magnolia smooth hammerite to be a close match and used it on wheels and grill.

If you want a spray can of paint look for Rover Arum White which is also a very close match....

Somebody else told me about magnolia Smoothrite - but I've never seen it, do you know where I am likely to be able to get some?

Sounds like an ideal solution for wheels!

Cheers :D :D

I think they may have stopped making Magnolia Smoothrite. I haven't seen any for sale for years. :(

If it doesn't work, you're not hitting it with a big enough hammer.

I might be tempted into that myself actually ... its only just down the road, although I doubt I'll ever use it all ... heh, perhaps I could start doing a line of refurbed rims?
