Does anyone know if a split screen MM series was ever fitted with the later dash as generally fitted from '55 onwards.
Basically was there a transition period when the last '54 MMs may have used the newer dash layout?

Re: MM dash
The interior and grille of the Series II were changed in 54, the windscreen was changed in 56. However I have seen a Series II with the early grille and central speedo. Not counting the Morris fire engine.

Re: MM dash
An MM would always have the dash with the juke box grill in the centre, speedo, oil and fuel gauges in front of the driver and a glove box lid with a badge on the other side. Usually painted gold on most cars but can be body colour on CKD cars.
Too many Minors so little time.....
Re: MM dash
Thanks for confirming it's possible as I was thinking of changing dash to earlier 'gold/jukebox type.
I am restoring a 803cc '54 4dr split screen with cheese grater grille but with central speedo.
