Hi All,
I was looking at buying a matched lock set for my car but was under the impression you needed to un-peen the boot lock shaft, remove the bell to get to the securing pin for the boot lock barrel..
is there any chance there is a tool that could re-peen the shaft post unpeening?
Cheers,
Tom

Re: Peening Tool?
Just drill a small hole through the shaft in the correct spot and put a small cotter (split) pin through the hole and spread the ends. Then next time you take it apart you won't have to worry about "unpeening" it.

Try beer drinking or chasing women, some of my favourite vices .
