Re: Engine bay advice
Engine out without a hoist is possible. Did mine on my own BUT everything was stripped off including the head. When I had rebuilt it on the bench I couldn't lift it so a hoist is essential for putting it back.

The engine can be taken out with the help of a rope and another person.....and some careful planning. But I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT! An engine hoist from Machine mart is a very worth while investment, now nothing of mine has its engine in!

Thanks Guys,
Would a 1tonne capacity be sufficient or is more required.

You can do it on your own with only a trolley jack, it's a bit of a handful though.
1 tonne could pick up the whole car so should be fine
