engine numbers

i have this B series engine sitting in my shed, its a 1.5 with wolseley on the top, but i dont know what wolseley its from. Is there a way of deciphering the engine number to reveal which model of car its come from?

It doesn't matter (although likely W 1500) - since all the same.

It could also be from a Wolseley 15/50. If so, the sump is different from those fitted to 1500s.
