Voltage regulator seal label
I have been reading through a 1957 'Operations Manual, issued when my car was delivered and I have noticed something in the side of the voltage regulator along the lines of 'no user serviceable parts inside' , Clearly most if not all of theses will have disappeared over time with replacement of the regulator, or adjustments made to it during service.
Does anyone have one of these ? I assume from its position it is a little like a tin plate , attached to the side of the regulator on the clip which secures it to the main body.
Any better photos so that one could be mocked up would also be useful. Size of font / colour etc. I can approximate the size of the label by reference to the measurements on the regulator.
As far as I can make out it says ' WARNING. DONOT CONNECT CONDENSERS TO FIELD TERMINALS OF REGULATOR OR DYNAMO'
I have no idea why it is upside down !!!

its actually a cardboard label and falls apart easily. Easy to reproduce on the computer.

I have managed to copy and import the photo and will make one from there. It looks like you mounted it on card and covered it with some clear plastic. Is that the case?

Re: Voltage regulator seal label
There were some similar labels on the early cars for jacking the wheels up and draining the Rad. It would be nice to get Jpegs of those to copy, wouldn't it. Anyone here good with printing stuff????

How late did those labels go? It looks like people with IT skills (or their children!) could reproduce these. It would be good to share them. Now if only I could get hold of Taupe re those NMP plate reproductions ........

Yay done it. Not as good as Stevey's originals but roughly the right size

Bu**er to put on the wire without straightening it which I did not want to do. Ended up bending it in half and threading it through. Thanks for the photo it made life much simpler.
