i have 165x65 r14 tyres on my morris minor on standard rims they do fit and have no problems apart from the tyre dosent fit under the boot floor
Anyone?
Would 155R 14 80S , tyres on either van or saloon rims fit under the boot floor?
All Metropolitan police pandas were fitted with crossply tyres but I cannot vouch for the other forces. I changed my pandas crossplys for Bridgestones and the difference was remarkable would never go back to crossplys.

It's the standard size ( early ) top panel, the extra capacity is in the bottom panel , with a removable cross-brace ( front to back actually ) and only the saloon wheel/tyre will fit..

The link to ESMs tank has a different top profile,no way would you get a spare in there,my tank top has the same standard profile and will fit the standard rim shod with Michelin 145x14 but no way will a van rim shod with 155x14 80s fit in there...
