Re: Spotted today.
I might be going to see if I can still spot mine Morris 1000 van parked in the same position tomorrow at the garage that's doing some work on it. It has been there for four months and supposed not finished yet and he said he cannot get panels for it but I saw it over a week ago it looked finished. I will his expression if I turn up without him knowing.
Re: Spotted today.
I think I’d take it back and try someone else, if the guy is proving difficult. Four months is excessive. What have you asked him to do?

Re: Spotted today.
The garage is doing some chassis work at the back and replacing wheel arches and back panel. He said he was waiting for one panel and then it would be finished. He only had two restorers working part time because of the lockdown. When I saw it in March he had cut all the rot out but just waiting for one panel.

Yesterday spotted a Minor Million coming into Cenarth from Cardigan just before it was being overtaken by white van man!! Well I say it was a Minor Million, it might have just been a Lilac Minor.

Re: Spotted today.
I saw a grey convertible with a red hood near where I live and was driven by the most miserable person driving a Morris I have ever seen. I was not in mine as the classic car restorer has had mine since February.

Re: Spotted today.
It belonged to a fathers daughters boyfriend who was paying £5 a week for a garage and it never went in, instead he payed his girlfriends dad a fiver a week to store it at his, apparently a couple of months passed and he wasn't bothered about it, been sat there along time, its now awaiting the scrap man ( now me ) some good bits still there, chrome grill surround and other minor bits.

Re: Spotted today.
I first saw this a couple of years ago looking complete after a load of bramble and hedge were removed, I would have paid for it then not knowing how bad it was, however he took the gearbox off and and a few other bits, but the bottom rotted totally but wings bonnet and roof are still resonable so im gonna repair them for some lucky person down the line,

Morris Minor vans
Not one but two, spotted yesterday on my way home from Chichester via worthing.
First was a nice light blue sign written van coming from the Arundel direction heading west on the A27 About 4.15pm.
Very clean condition, looked like a good restoration.
Second was around 5.30pm coming over the Norfolk bridge in Shoreham, heading west on the A259.
This one was rather tatty and in need of a paint job, but again in the same light blue.
Unusual to see two vans, and in the same colour, on the same day.
