Incredible
It makes you wonder how some folk compute. I’ve come across an antiques company selling a Minor bonnet with ‘distressed’ paint, for £474 + £72 postage.
Re: Incredible
It's in a lovely blue hue though.......it would be a shame to ruin that lovely 'distressed' look by respraying it!

Surprisingly, the vendor must be having difficulty 'shifting' this item as it looks like transport is free now, although there is a 'service fee' of £14.22 payable........whatever that is for!
......as you say, Les ''Incredible'' about says it all.

Reminds me of the Harry Enfield character with an antique shop called ‘I saw you coming’.
Sadly not so incredible in this day and age, more a sorry comment on the era in which we live.

Re: Incredible
I remember seeing an Antique/junk shop years ago had a sign which said "We buy rubbish,we sell Antiques.

Ha, if only old battered bonnets were worth that much, I'd be sitting on a small fortune !

Re: Incredible
I could sell them to gullible trendy types for maybe a more reasonable £350 each. Undercut this chap and still make a tidy profit

I think you are absolutely spot on Mike. What's that old saying ? A fool and his money are easily parted... Or perhaps it is more a case of the emperors new clothes ?!
