Hi all,
On the passenger side of my late Traveller, there's a rectangular hole in the toe board - the sloping part of the bulkhead. I think it might be for left hand drive pedals to pass through. But I was wondering how people block it up to stop water coming in? I could weld it up - but is there a standard blanking plug that fits in it?
Thanks.

A photo would be very helpful. I am not quite sure what you mean. Do you mean the panels for accessing the chassis legs? There is a horizontal panel on the floor and a slanting panel. There are panels either side of the gearbox tunnel. On the right hand side the brake master cylinder sits in the chassis leg and vice versa for a LHD car.
I will go out and have a look at my car now........

Re: Passenger toe board rectangular hole
I think the hole the OP refers to is the one which is covered with a small square of something like roofing felt on your picture. My own car has the same. It is indeed used on LHD cars.

Thanks for that photo svenedin. Here's a pic - it's the same hole, almost above the first silencer, next to the chassis rail. On the part of the floor that slopes upwards. There didn't seem to be anything covering it except the felt. I guess gluing something over it is the way to go. Thanks all.

That is the LHD dipswitch hole I think......
Earlier cars had a bolted on plate and rubber gasket and a slightly smaller circular hole ....see here from parts list N5
The bitumen/asbestos or fibre felt cover was probably cheaper to install and just as good at keeping out water.
Taupe

Yep that looks like it. I'll be trawling local skips for a small piece of roofing felt...
Thanks

Re: Passenger toe board rectangular hole
I think there is a rectangular rubber grommet for that aperture.
Re: Passenger toe board rectangular hole
If you have any clues - part number etc I'd be grateful. Thanks. Otherwise I'm happy to just glue something over it.
