Hello All
Can you tell me please what the regulations are for seatbelts for a 1967 Morris Traveller? Are they exempt, require front seat belts only or do they need front and rear?
Mant thanks
Ruth

It need front seat belts legally and for the MOT.
If inertia belts have been fitted, the belt must return by itself (can be a problem on 2 door saloons and maybe travellers as well due to the belt snagging as the reel will be at a funny angle - Special belts can be supplied from the Minor spares places)
If you use static belts, then you don't have any problem with the belt pulling back. I much prefer the statics in a Moggy (other people don't) , but manually adjusting them can be a pain if you have a wide variety of sizes of people in the car.
If rear belts are fitted they have to meet all the MOT regulations. If there are no rear belts, they can't fail them. (defies logic as even manky seat belts are better than no belts, but rules are rules)
