new radiator cap

Post by kangarolf »

Hi there,

I need a new radiator cap as all the rubber seal has gone on mine and it appears to be leaking water and not holding any pressure.

I have read numerous ratings for teh radiator cap..any recommendations and suppliers..? Its a 1098cc 1968 2 door saloon.

I also need various new bolts/nuts like a few for the suspension where previous cross threading has knackered the bolt. Anywhere that sells the correct imperial sizes..?

Thanks in advance
Rolf

The correct rating for your rad cap is 4lbs pressure.

Rad caps and virtually all nuts, bolts, pins etc are available from most Minor specialists.
