hi katekat, i did use cellulose for the engine bay and wings.the maroon and black was synthetic. the only reason for that is paint cost, the paint supplier had yukon grey avliable in two types of 2pk ( different manufactures and prices ) and cellulose. for me to do it in 2pk with one of the cheaper manufactures i would of had to take a wing to the supplier and for them to send it away to their alchemest for it to be formulated as it is not listed , the other paint (2pk) at the time was avliable but too expensive around £90+vat for 2.5l plus hardner and thinners. for me it was a time issue, the whole car will be going through a repaint with the more expensive 2pk later this year or next year if time is not possiable

Celly is no easier to use than 2K, you should always have the proper breathing apparatus both for celly and 2K and should have the required premesis in which to spray, not a driveway or garage.
2K is a quick drying product but needs heat and air flow to hasten drying, it also benefits from baking.

cell is ok but it involves more work to spray and afterwards as it need to be buffed to bring out a great shinekatiekat wrote:I have been using cellulose as it's user friendly for a novice like me. I don't have any breathing apparatus or spray booth so can't use 2 pack.
Is it true that 2 pack takes a while to dry?
