heritage the word

Post by topknot »

Hi there,
In advertisements on this site and others, I often see the word "HERITAGE" mentioned in the add.
It is used especially with regard to parts etc?
So what does this mean?
is the part very old and repairable/
is the part new and replicates as near as possible the old part?
what does it mean? 8)
every minor moment Matters

Obviously can't speak for what every advertiser means, but in relation to body panels, 'Heritage' generally means those manufactured by British Motor Heritage Ltd. These will be good quality panels made to the original specification. These are still being made so they could be old or could be new, but may not necessarily be in good condition, so check the details with the advertiser if you intend buying. Same with everything, whether Minor parts or not, if you're not sure what an advertiser means in their ad, ask them, so that you know exactly what you are buying!
