well the work has started engine and gearbox has been removed and sold on ebay [frame]Image[/frame][frame]Image[/frame]
back axle has been removed and moved back so the artic 5th wheel will fit better and give me more clearance so the trailer does not hit the back of my cab[frame]Image[/frame
now to finish the rear of the pick up while on the look out for my new engine and gearbox. Its going large not engine size but hp i am aiming to get 400 to 450 bhp out of a 2ltr vxr engine.

Be this a lesson to all, as I said my nice shiny vxr 240bhp arrived I paid £1250 for it checked the buyer out on eBay checked the company out got my reciept only to get a call from mr plod to tell me the engine came from a stolen vehicle. Gutted.just luck I had not spent the 3 to 4 grand on it to make the 450 hp.

Hello Toginthe mog,

you may already know this, but the rear trailing arms are not very effective being connected as they are. Ideally they should be straight forward from the suspension. I would expect a lot of rear wheel steering with that layout especially as you want to put so much power through it?
