What is your New Years Resolution?
To set the ball rolling here is mine:
I intend to concentrate all my spare time lying under the kitchen sink, picking at that annoying loose bit of lino in the corner. Wish me luck in my endeavour!

Good luck and hopefully this will eventually lead to a new floor?!
I'm going to get my backside in gear, find a proper job, start a Degree with the Open University and a billion other things which aren't resolutions but always get pushed to the back of the 'to do' list.

Never again buy a car that needs as much work as my Traveller has, that is work beyond my personal ability to repair, leaving me relying on other people.

Re: What is your New Years Resolution?
well i'm going with the traditional losing weight & getting more healthy thing - I can hear you all now...... it'll never last but this year I'm determined - there's of a group of us at work all doing it & it's costing money with fines for putting weight back on so this year you'll definately be seeing less of me

Re: What is your New Years Resolution?
To drive Phyllis more this year. After a house move and the resultant jobs (the list of which keeps getting longer) and the awful weather (there is so much mud on the roads out here, it's lethal - and a chore to wash off every time!) she hasn't been driven much at all.
This year, however, I hope that will change.
I'm getting organised. I've already planned out the local branch rallies and put their dates in my phone so I won't forget about them (or, as is more usual, realise that there's a rally on TODAY when I have no hope of making time to go). I've even put the National in as Oxforshire isn't too far away. A Midlands National comes only rarely, it seems.
With luck (a new MOT for the year and a new set of tyres) and hopefully this part of the Herefordshire/Worcestershire border will sing once more to the sound of a burbling A-series.
I made a start today. We went into town to the bakers. Such fun!
Incidentally - I'd like to spend a little more time on the forum again. I've been away for so long I had to reactivate my account!!

Re: What is your New Years Resolution?
I solved this perennial new year resolution thing a while back. Just resolved never to make anymore new year resolutions. It is the only one I have stuck to.

Same here, after a certain number of new years I can't be bothered any more.

Looking forward to spotting you around the Teme Valley! (Bit further upstream myself, at Stanford Bridge...)Gareth wrote:

For once, my convertible has been tucked up for the winter, the Renault 5 taking the brunt of rotten weather commuting duties but I do endeavor to have more Minors on the road this year...
cheers
