Re: Spotted today.
Went to my local Hospice Spring fete today, first time they have invited Vintage and/or other cars to display. I think there were almost as many cars there as Stalls.
I wanted to have a word with a Triumph TR6 Owner, but I suddenly realised the car was gone. With his bonnet up, I noticed his battery had a small Red Plug at the top edge. I'm willing to bet he has recently changed the battery and not removed the transit bung from the vent.
He's at risk of over-pressurising his battery with gas while charging; I'm guessing he doesn't go very far in it.
So there were quite a few modern vehicles, and I thought the Recovery Truck with the compacted lump of scrap car on the back was taking the mickey... but here's some of the more noteworthy models....
Jowett Javelin 1949 - I had quite a chat with the owner, he's not had it very long...

Re: Spotted today.
Finally...
It was also not travelling on any Trade Plates as I followed it off site at the end of the fete.
And before someone checks it, I already have and PYD539 doesn't show up on the DVLA checker....or any of the other databases mentioned in the last few days....It was also not travelling on any Trade Plates as I followed it off site at the end of the fete.

Excellent. I'll try to get to Avoncroft. Been meaning to go for a while, and a line-up of pre-war Austins is a good excuse!

Re: Spotted today.
My son was performing today in his first 'gig' as a Morris Dancer so my wife and I had to go and see him and you can't go to something like that in a Honda Jazz can you? Yes, so it's my Moggy but unfortunately my son had to dash off somewhere else before I could get the rest of the gang together for a group photo.
I did think of captioning it as a 'Spot the oldest Morris' competition but I thought there might be too many entries .
