Door seals
Does anyone know which door seals fit best on the morris minors. The ones I have appear to be too thick and it’s throwing the door alignment out. The door closes properly and easily when the seals have been removed but they are more difficult when the seals are in place, I have tried moving the hinges

Re: Door seals
A new door seal always requires squashing into shape after it's fitted, how long since you fitted the new ones?
Doors are often a problem on our cars because many of them have been on and off over the years, they aren't the original doors, or have been repaired.
They would have been an individual fit on the production line originally, because there was not computer operated machinery to ensure they were all interchangeable.

The seals were on when I got it but they look newish, the doors align and close better without the seals fitted. I wasn’t sure if there was a thinner type of seal available.

Re: Door seals
There are obviously variations in manufacturers and presumably whether you have the 'original' type with the separate clips or a modern alternative.
You might find you can tease the flange that it is fitted to to alleviate some of the problems.
