Someone had vandalised a road sign to say the same

We had a fabulous day out - Many thanks Mr.
Foreman!!

Luke had the guys on the model plane stand giving endless explanations - then did the same on the model boat stand. Then got a practical demonstration of morse code and many other things at the Radio room.
We followed that with duck impressions from Chrissie :)
I thought his favourite bit would have been seeing the army reanactment people firing real guns, machine gun, then a mortar!
Actually his favourite part was opening and closing the lock gates when barges came through :D

I was impressed with the effort that people had made in costumes - antique prams with real kiddies in them. Relocated children fresh off the train from London carrying suitcases and with name badges round their necks ready to be re-homed.

Anyway - was really good to meet up with you all today.; Hope you enjoyed it as much as we did.

I agree with everyones sentiments on here. We really enjoyed the day. So did our little ones. It was our first web rally and we will definitely be trying to make it to more. It was great to meet everyone. Cake was fantastic. Our 5 year old daughter Megan Rose loved it that much she couldn't wait and had to cut a piece herself  As for our little boy Ellis, I think the short cake was a big hit  Thanks to Rog for arranging it and a big thank you to Lou and Rog for the great tea and cakes too. We worked it out that it was an 84 mile round trip for us...well worth it. Great day out.

Absolutely fantastic day, thanks Mr Rust. Really good to meet some old and some new faces.

(Carried on up to Nottingham afterwards, so have only just got back)

Yes, many thanks Mr Foreman. And for all the cake. I thoroughly enjoyed catching up at last.

Hello to Luke and thank you for 'chatting' to the ducks with me!

What a great idea, 'you-tubing' us!

How come there is nearly always a photo of my car with the bonnet up and bottoms.........?

great picture (Bill?) - these guys do look very dad's army. The taller guy at the front was the first to fire a rifle and his hands were shaking so much I was expecting him to turn round and say "I.. I... I can't do it Captain Mainwearing!"
