steering column noise

i,ve recently been experienceing a "woo,woo/rubeing "noise from the steering column only when i,m turning right hand lock at both normal speeds and slow speeds,not always but nine times out of ten any ideas,i,m hopeing it,s just a greaseing or oiling job but where?

If it is really from the column, then it's likely that the cover over the indicator switch is catching on the steering wheel, which is not running completely true - could be a worn felt bush. Try oiling the felt (just drip oil down the central column) and also adjusting the switch cover by slackening the three small screws that hold it in place - a chubby screw driver is very useful for doing the one on top.

Well,it sounds and feels like its coming from the column but it could be something else resenateing through ,any more suggestions/ideas? :D

Doesn't sound the same noise, but I have an earth tab that runs on top of the steering column just by the front parcel shelf. It squeaks... so I use a bit of WD40 every now and again.
