Early MM hand brake lever color
Would there be a fussy restorer out there who could tell me the name of the color the lever is painted in. Its not entirely silver, but has a hint of gold and is a slight iridescence. Sometimes a name can provide a link. Thanks. I dont think the particular color is elsewhere on the car. but I may be wrong.

Re: Early MM hand brake lever color
I am sure my handbrake was unmolested and was dash gold with a nickel plated release lever?
The nickel had virtually worn off and the main handle finish was so thin there were rust stains on it.
I refinished it in gold but am very careful handling it, in case I damage the paint!
Ideally the release lever would be replayed but as it was riveted in I left it.

I looked at mine earlier and to be honest, couldn't make out what colour it was as it was so worn.
