Looks like replies to posts don't work in preview mode any-more If you untick "Attach a signature"

Re: Reply Previews
I've just tested your theory extensively, and cannot make it fail, either with or without a signature. I did note that if you type a reply and then change the tick box, then the reply might be lost; so I recommend always change the tick box and then type the reply. However, basic functionality is OK, unless others can confirm something to the contrary. Might be worth clearing your cache.

Re: Reply Previews
Why would you un-tick the 'Attach signature'...?
The usual complaint is that people can't get the signature attachments to work
So I tried it anyway and as Simon says, it seems to be fine....
I wrote these first couple of lines, un-ticked it, preview worked, so re-ticked and preview still worked.

Re: Reply Previews
I unticked the signature box because I was posting a one-liner "funny" with a smiley face and my signature would have taken up more page space than the post.
Preview in that case didn't materialise and the smiley face was still the old-fashioned "colon + D" code.
It changes to the emoticon once the signature box was re-ticked.
I've left the signature box ticked (my default) on this one.
Thanks for the responses Simmitc and Geoberni,
George.

just curious that's all. Probably a simple glitch at one end of the process or the other.
