Clutch Master cylinder used with Toyota 5 speed box
Last week I had a new clutch slave cylinder fitted thanks to information received on this forum. I now need to have a clutch master cylinder fitted. Unfortunately I have no idea which unit was fitted for the conversion (done by the Morris Minor Centre). The slave cylinder was the standard A40/ midget unit and the gearbox is a Toyota 5 speed. Can anyone suggest which master cylinder I need to order. Thanks. Stoneporch.

Re: Clutch Master cylinder used with Toyota 5 speed box
I believe that the Toyota 5 speed conversion done by the Morris Minor Centre for use in a Morris Minor used the clutch release mechanical linkage.
The hydraulic clutch release system was used on the MG Midget/Sprite conversion.
For example - you can use a clutch master cylinder fitted to the cross member. See photo below & which is operated by a mildly modified Minor clutch pedal. The fluid reservoir is remotely mounted under the bonnet.
ESM supply a hydraulic conversion kit which is similar to that fitted to my Minor.
